The sculpture "Dual Realities" explores the theme of Borders and Boundaries by contrasting human creativity with artificial intelligence. One side features a ‘traditional’ made sculpture, representing the emotional depth of human craftsmanship, while the opposite side presents a monochrome shape, identical in size but lacking the nuanced expression of traditional art.

This duality highlights the existing border between human artistry and machine-generated outputs, prompting viewers to consider how these boundaries may blur over time. As AI technology evolves, society faces critical questions about its impact on the role of the artist.

By emphasising the biases and ethical considerations inherent in AI, shaped by human data, this work invites reflection on whether we will embrace AI as a collaborator or resist its influence on creative expression. Ultimately, "Dual Realities" challenges audiences to reconsider the shifting borders that define our understanding of creativity.

This exhibition was part of the Beta Festival at the Digital Hub in Dublin in 2024.
